RESOURCES
This is a list of all the resources the disciples of Christ have discovered already. Feel free to send us your recommendaitons.

SOCIAL
We encourage disciples to get on our closed group on Minds.com
Minds is free-speech, decentralized platform, that offers encrypted messaging. It is a space that we as disciples can have an outsized impact on both the culture and company. The goal of having disciples on Minds is to have space and a platform with a thriving population of Law following Christians that cannot be cancelled, banned, suppressed, or shadow-baned.
Where to Start
Here are several sermon series you can start with on your deep dive into the culture, context, and understanding of the books of the Bible as they were written.
Books
The founders of the Citadel highly recommend starting by reading this book. It lays out the basic fundamental principles present in Church in the first century.
Bible Studies
You can always start at the beginning and learn the Bible through the eyes of the people and the culture who wrote it. This study focuses on understanding the cultural context, language, and meaning of the words used through out Genesis in a chapter by chapter approach. It is incredibly thorough.
This is another great place to start. This sermon series delves deeply into who Jesus was, the culture of his time, the context of his words and the contrast between Matthew and the other Gospels. It is by no means exhaustive in explaining the Old Testament or New Testament but it does highlight the intense and often neglected ways that the two are actually inseparable.
Yes, it may seem confusing but this book of the Bible is actually where most young Jews begin their study. "The holiest book for the holiest among us." is how the saying goes. This is also one of the founders of the Citadel's personal favorite studies. The sermon series breaks down the sacrificial system, sin, uncleanliness, and how it all pertains to our walk with Christ.
Topical Teaching
